Correct cage setup for Amazon Tree Boa?

I've decided to get an Amazon tree boa. I've been reading on the net about the husbandry. Before I bring it home I would like to get some tips on the correct cage setup that you all are using. I'm either going to get a precision or vision arboreal cage.

I've read that some people actually poor water in the bottom of the tank to increase the humidity. Is this a good or bad idea?

What are some other ways to increase the humidity? I thought about hooking up an ultrasonic humidifier and attach a tube to the vent to act as a fogger? What do you think?
