Ok here is what I do with my pair. By the way I caught them breeding today!!
First of all get him checked be a reptile vet ASAP! These little guys come in with a lot of bugs and worms. They need a 24 hour heat source. During the day they need 85-100 basking spot. At night they can handle alittle cooler, but they do love the heat! As far as the set up don't use a glass aquarium. I use rubbermaid tubs for their alone quaters. Rember bigger is always better. You can use news paper, cypress chips, and coconut shell. I do not provide a water source 24-7. They don't do well with humidity! Instead I give mine a bath as often as possible (every other day is good). For this don't use a sink or tub in your house. What I use is a kitty litter box. Fill it with a bout 1-2 inches of warm to the touch water(like giving a baby child a bath). Remeber they are cold blooded and can be over heated as easaly as they can be chilled. Don't do this at night. give them a chance to warm up after the bath (2 or 3 hours is good). Now for feeding, I give a diet of mostly greens (i use romane, red and green leaf, and a little kale), fresh tomato, Graded carrots & squash, cooked/then cooled sweet potato, and when available yellow and red sweet peppers. They get some fruit but only as a monthly treat. Mine likes melons.
Should you want to talk more my email is geckoman@yahoo.com!
Good luck and welcome to Greeks!!!!
