:I recently purchased a hovabator with the turbofan. I'm told that this type of incubator is not appropriate with leopard gecko eggs as it drys them out. Has anyone used this model with tort eggs? Thanks in advance.

The Hovabator with fan, for a low end incubator, has a nice stable temperature throughout but it will dry out any parchment type eggs (like leopard Geckos , painted turtles etc) I would not use one of these unless the eggs were inside a second container within the incubator.
