I have used one sucessfully for about a year. Just make sure that you keep the unit well hydrated and I suggest keeping the eggs in an covered interior container. I have been using the Gladware containers with the lid, but with a couple of holes punched in the side for air exchange.

The accuracy of the temperature control has been very good. It maintains the temp within 1/10 of a degree.
:I recently purchased a hovabator with the turbofan. I'm told that this type of incubator is not appropriate with leopard gecko eggs as it drys them out. Has anyone used this model with tort eggs? Thanks in advance.
