So then you wouldn't sujest inter-breeding them? I ask because I have 2 normals and I am thinking of getting a pair of blacks. If I keep them in the same out door pins, is there a problem. This brings up another ?. I live in the Peoria IL area. Humidity is very high here during the summer months. Do you think it would be ok to keep them out doors?

:As of this date they are all Testudo graeca but that is sure to change.
