If that's a concern then I've got a problem.
The point is that it should not be a concern because it would appear that mother nature has placed in some safety guards.
Have you ever seen the size of the male tortoise anatomy that is responsible for reproduction(it would make Jonny blush)? Have you ever watched how a juvenile carries it's tail? The mechanics is just not there. Of course there are exceptions to every rule in biology but the rule is...
My only concern is aggressive harm to the little one. If, after close observation, there is no aggressive behavior then the rest is not a concern.
