:do they make good captives? Are the anxious or vicious? Do they eat well? What about diseases? They are among my favorite animals (besides turtles of course) Tell us more....or move this discussion to the...uh well some other mammal forum i guess.

Even though I did a little over a year of background research on them before getting them, I've only had my pair for a week, so I'm definitely still a novice. But if you want to discuss them, go on over to the "Armadillo, Anteater and Sloth" section of the ExoticHobbyist discussion boards and I'd be happy to share.

By the way, "Azotochtli" (my login name) means "Turtle Rabbit" in Aztec. That was the Aztec name for armadillos!
