Hello people! I have not been on this forum in like nearly 2 years. Sorry guys :)
Well, my Testudo kleinmanni(Egyptian Tortoise) has since grown. He's an active adult male. The smaller kleinmanni has unfortunately passed away. However, Brendan Kelley who is also an owner of many tortoises has gave me an adult female in exchange for half of any future babies. Well, since then.. there has been lots mating, but nothing layed.
I just set up a new pen for my tortoises. Its 3ft by 2ft... and I am using 50/50 of play sand and organic topsoil as substrate. One one side, there is a regular old lamp which keeps it warm, and on the other side. I am using a 24" Reptisun 5.0 bulb for UV. I also planted a few colorful plants in one corner for an exotic look and to keep my babies interested.
Niki.. its nice to see pictures of Teddy. I remember when you first got him and he was as big as my Ramses. Now, Teddy's head is as big as my tortoise. lol
