When I orginally bought my tortoise I didnt really know how big it would get. I fed the best i could according to the book "The complete idoit's guide to turtles and toroises" The one thing I could never find to feed him was un fertilized grass...yeh all u out there are probably goning thats were u messed up...i know..big time. Is it two late now to change his diet of dandeloin greens and assorted veggies once in awhile, to stop pyramiding from becoming worst? My tort is already four years old and has bad pyramiding...ive taken my tort to the vet before when he or she had a repiratory problem that was two years ago and he didnt say anything about his raised scutes. After four years of wondering why...today i found out about pyramiding. DAMN i wish i new four years ago...Is it too late? Will pyramiding result in a loss of lifespan? thanks alot
