I have seen the results of a snake subjected to small amounts of the strip in ventilated environment and the damage is unimaginable. The snake lost coordination and never regained it. I would remove the tortoises and consider using Black Knight roach spray which was sprayed on passengers returning to the states by airlines in the 60's and 70's to contol the spread of the fruit fly. Go to the Barkers site and read about the spray. I'm sure it has some risks as well but nothing to the magnitude as the vodoo pest strip.....Richard

We have a bunch of tiny insects crawling all through our Star Tortoise pen, usually hanging out under the water dish, in their food, and on them. Does anyone have any experience with No-Pest stips? Are these safe for use and do you leave the animals in the enclosure while you use them, with proper ventilation?
:Thanks,
