Paying US$ 120 for a Pancake, even if it is 3-legged, is a great deal. Pancakes here fetch $400-600. Dealers will commonly discount such deformities by 25-50%. And as long as it doesn't appear to impair breeding potential, I will often buy such specimens. On of my favorite pets was a 3-legged Jagged Shell turtle named Tripod. Good luck!

:i just bought a 3 legged pancake tortoise here in malaysia for us$120.i just want to know what is the value of this "handicap" tortoise.is it still valueble because i heard it is very hard to find and i think there is only 150-250 pancakes in malaysia.thanks
