The smaller set is 4 feet long and the new one is 7.5 feet long. They are coated in polyurathane which yellows with age. The smaller set is about 8 years old.
A couple of years ago on another list a poster mentioned that they used a similar idea with ramps connecting the levels which I thought was kinda neat.
