Well, do we know it was the "white stuff" that made it swell?
He did say the tort was really "backed up" from infrequent soaking and really emptied its bowels after a soak...

He has seen the stuff before on occasion. He's had it for 2 years. He thought it might be semen. I'd wager he'd be a little more concerned if it was oozing non-stop like an infected cut would be.
I don't know...kinda sounds like urates to me. I could be wrong.

Am I just reading the post wrong/differently?
Maybe he'll tell us how long the "white stuff" has been seen, and how the tort is doing now. Haven't seen anything from him lately...

A vet visit would probably be a good idea either way to be safe.
