:you do have a brain, right? And eyes, and ears, right?

:So think for yourself. Ask for advice, but don't assume everything you read on the internet is true, and things like this won't upset you. There is nothing wrong with people, even companies, recommending products. If you want to, ask other people about them. Try them. If you don't like them, don't buy them again. That's capitalism. Most of all, though, take a big deep breath and calm down.

i must state for the record nathana, that i was perfectly calm and merely making a point when i wrote/submitted that post. malice was never a factor. upset ? no. amused ? yes and even more so now. the emperor has no clothes ! believe it or not some people are unaware of internet marketing tactics. forums are beter than telemarketing. most people just hang up if they dont have an interest in what they hear. then there are those who react to the call/caller in a confrontational manner. the latter generally indicates a person or household that is unstable in one way or another. this behavior is most often accompanied by a sudden acute rise in blood pressure and a verbal attack on the individual at the other end of the line. anything beyond a simple "no thank you" is a window into personal lives and enviornments. but there is always the guy out there who sees the annoyance as an opportunity "let me turn off the shower, i want to hear more about long distance savings." i like that. those kind of people are fun and possess a quality recognized only by a select few. there is nothing like an individual who can successfully deliver a catalyst in a manner that really gets the monkeys hopping. i'm sorry if i offended anyone with my post. that was not my intent. it was just good ol'fashioned fishin and my creel is pretty heavy at this point in time. i really enjoy reading about tortoises and the advice people give one another here is priceless. so to state the obvious in the simple words of the king, "can't we all just get along ?"
