Here's a decent sized sulcata and a hatchling for comparison,
certainly not an animal to be kept inside in a cage. Like the
other post said, they do not hibernate at all. Leopards are
generally shy and spend a lot of time hiding, sulcatas are bold
and assertive. Then there are individuals that will be different
and I think male/female may act different also. If you could
adopt one, that would be so fantastic, there are a lot of
animals that need to be adopted because they've gotten too
big for their owners. I'm not saying you'll adopt a big one,
but lots of them are given up at just a few pounds big.
