I feed a head of lettuce a day now. I've always fed greens,
Mazuri is just in addition to his regular food. We've got
grocery stores right nearby and even on the Island there
are large supermarkets nearby back on the main land.
Teddy can be outside all day long, and still around 2 p.m.
he wants to come inside, he'll walk to the house and go inside
to get his Mazuri, then come back out.
I took him to the Vet's office today, for weight and also
a new vet looked at him to get used to him. (It was a fiasco,
he was adorable and they were taking pics. of him, plus the
other patients owners were all gawking and asking questions!)lol!
They don't have any problems with him getting that supplement.

I've gone back to adding warm water to it, then draining,
feeding dry caused a ton of crumbs to go flying everywhere,
I'll switch occasionally back to plain dry.

For anyone who thinks sulcatas don't need water, mine drinks
heartily when he decides to, and that's fairly often, daily in
the summer. After he drinks for the morning, I remove the
water not choosing to leave it standing all day for insects to
gather in it. Denying an animal access to fresh water is
cruel - I think Animal Control would even be interested in
this if someone left a tortoise or anything outside in the
summer without water at all.

Primarily I feed greens, he also can graze as he chooses
and I give him Mazuri most days. That's all I was trying to
say, be open.
