:Chipped or cracked beaks happen occasionally. If it doesn't interfere with feeding it's not a problem and should eventually grow out. But if it IS a problem (like this sounds to be) a good vet can trim the beak so that it closes properly.


Thanks for the help. I'll keep a close watch on him for the next few days and assess if he is having problems.
