I have tried calci-sand and it didnt work. It is quite expensive and too gritty. It can give your tortoise a rash because it will get stuck in between his head/legs and when he walks it will rub against his skin and make him uncomfortable. Plus I wouldnt want my tortoise getting used to eating the substrate if it tried. :)

:Can Calci-sand or Vita-sand be used for a baby sulcata? Any help would be great.
