It seems to me to be a good steady growth and I assume there is no vulting. I don't profess to be an expert. although I have several decades experience with Chelonians, At the SFCRC, our primary focus is Corucia zebrata but we have 2 Female (sisters) Sulcatas that nave been at the SFCRC for 2 years. They now measure approximately 8 1/4 ". Foolishly, their size was not recorded upon rescue, but I would tend to agree they followed the same rate of growth. As a hatchling, the growth rate is a little faster so it has to be plotted not as a straight line but as a curve. I know this isn't detailed, but I hope it helps.
Sincerely,
Brian

:and that was back in Oct
:2002 it is now 4.25 in April so it has grown 2" in 6 months. Is that normal or is too slow. I can't tell it has grown at all but the measurments says it has.
