:What type of tegu is it, how long, and how about how much does it weigh?

:Lindsay

::My one tegu is almost a year old. He will easily eat two chicks and anywhere from four to six large mice a day. Is that excessive or about average?
::Thanks,
::Karen

My tegu is upward of 37 inches. I'd say he weighs between 5 and 6 pounds. He's a chacoan from St. Pierre. I can't get a good length on him really. I need a real tape measure instead of the cloth tape measure I've been using.
Take care,
Karen
