:thanks. do all tegus grow to be the size of black and whites? or are their some smaller ones? cuz i not really keen on building an enclosure(they cost a ton of money). cuz if all tegus get big then i may get an ackie monitor.

:Like I said in the earlier post .The Chilean dwarf tegu gets about 20" long , and you could keep it in the cage you have stated without any problems at all. The Dwarf tegus are more like a lacerta- ameiva , Then true tegus. Good luck Russ
