what to look for in purchasing Argentine B/W tegu ?

thinking about getting an argentine. I just got rid of my columbia tegu last night. Im not looking to spend 300 dollars if you know what i mean. but i do want a quality tegu. anything in particular i should look for when purchasing. any advice would be aprresiated. -Nick_
