:When my red was about 28 inches he bit the side of my thumb. He sliced it all the way to the bone. Didn't hang on, just bit and let go. Took a while to heal. Now he's about 42 inches and can crush an XL mouse's head like a potato chip. Sounds like it, too. I wouldn't want to get bitten now.
