is so many of the past authors had no clue about taxonomy and would accept anything and everyhting that came out of someones mouth at a herp meeting. Joe Collins is a perfect example of this and his debaucle with North American allopatrism. I agree though they are hypotheses and if I want to publish something, I should not have to accept SSAR's Standard name, I mean come on Kinosternon odoratum?
