:Hm....unusual Q. But there in fact IS kinda answer: When the genus Draco was originally described, it received this name since Linnaeus, who described Draco volans himself, beleived that those tiny "flying" lizards were just hatchlings of your mythological dragon.
:So: The mythological dragon IS out there gliding through south east asias jungles ;-)
