I don't know much about the sustematics of the ground dwelling geckos from Egypt but I know a good book that can help you for sure.
Amphibians and Reptiles of North Africa,by H.Hermann Schleich, Werner Kästle & Klaus Kabisch the book is written in English and is published by Koeltz Scientific Publishers P.O. Box 1360, 61453 Koenigstein, Germany, it is first publishedin 1996. The ISBN 3-87429-377-7 (Germany)
