I have a western fence lizard that I wasn't planning on keeping for more than a couple weeks. I just caught her laying eggs tonight, which really surprised me. This is sort of late in the season for her to be laying eggs, although it is within reason. My question is, how would I know if they are fertile? Also, what are some incubating suggestions?... what temp., humidity, substrate, cheap equipment to use to make a decent incubator??? Thanks a lot.
