My Gray Band has not eaten since the end of November. She appears to be in a hibernation state since but I am unfamiliar with this seeing that I got the snake in early November....a few weeks before this started. The tank is heated on one side at about 80-85 degrees and the other side (where she has been hanging out the most) about 58-65 degrees. She has shelter on both ends of warm and cool but has not left the cool spot for all this time...not even to roam about. I unbury her every week or so to check that she is still alive and I leave a fuzzy in there. To no avail it is never eaten. If she is in fact in hibernation, how long does it last and should I be bothering her? I am afraid that she is starving herself. Don't want to resort in force feeding but I will if i have to. Please respond soon.
