Seems like a pretty ignorant thing to say. Number one, a customer should never have to handle the rodents to box them. In fact, most places they won't let you even if you did want to. I think you highly underestimate the degree to which this ignorance has spread throughout the petco chain...It takes me literally an hour if I just need crickets...What if someone in your family was bit due to negligence on the part of the store staff...I would be a little peeved to say the least...wouldn't you? Or does that not really matter to you? If it was a mouse or hamster, maybe get over would be a little more appropriate. Have you been bit by a nice size rat? It hurts and can swell up pretty bad. I had a bite bleed for over 30 minutes and was pretty deep. Granted that was my fault as I opted to pick up the PET RAT. But this was because the store staff refused to get the rats...See the point?
