Petco near me cleaned up its act. We have something like 10 in the Greater houston area. This one happened to be selling iguanas to people that had no prior knowledge and did not speak a drop of english, therefore they could not get any instructions. Well in broken spanish, the employee said they should be fed crickets about 4 days of the week, and the rest should be made of vegetable matter. They were sent happily home with a heat rock, 20 gallon long tank, and gravel as the substrate. The next week, there was a boy who did not speak english very well and had no understanding of care needs. He picked up a heat rock, some bark, and some other useless accessories, asked for a ball python(did not even bother to choose his own and let them casheir go pick it for him). He left happily with a 2.5 gal kritter keeper as well for his new addition. Enough to make me barf. Not only that, but they were selling a burm when it is illegal to do in the city limits...Old habits die hard I guess...Andy
