my red tegu drowned his mouse ..

i have a one year old argentine red tegu, Brickhouse, who LOVES mice. I usually feed pre-killed/f/thawed..but i wasn't home and my husband had just gotten a fresh batch of mice for me. Brick hadn't been fed a mouse for a day or two so I asked him to just drop in a live one. My husband called me back and told me that Brick had played cat and mouse for a minute, then grabbed the mouse in his mouth, dunked him in his water bowl until the mouse was dead, drowned. Then he swallowed the drowned wet mouse. Yeesh! Needless to say, Brickhouse has all my respect!! -K
