My Uncle was in the everglades on a peaceful paddle canoeing. While paddling he saw some bubbles, so he leans over the boat to look at them, and there comes an aligator head three feet from his head.

Well, pretty much you know the rest of the story, he quickly got out of the way and paddled as fast as he could, lol.
