I have a very large female night anole (1 ft and a half and maybe a little less of a quarter of a pound in weight. Shes a HUGE anole) Well anyways i have just gotten her and had her for a couple days and i dont keep her in a cage (shes my baby, shes too good for a cage). Well let me set the stage, it was night about 5 or 6 in the morning, I myself am dead asleep and dreaming about some hunk. When out of the blue she jumps from the top of the curtain (a good 5 feet above my bed) and lands on my face *splat*. Anyone ever have a knight anole land on their face while they are sleeping? well i had a knight anole red outline on my face, and Mrs.Knight-a-nall looking really pissy crawled down and curled up to sleep on my chest. I didnt realized that i screamed when she hit me waking up the whole house and them bursting in my room to start laughing about the knigh anole stuck to my face. Its never happened again, but i make sure shes tucked into her bed away from mine. I can handle the occasinal cricket jumping in bed with me but not the knight anole. She gets cranky and some times nips. :)
