Dumb Friend!

I had a friend once who I hadn't seen since childhood who called me up. We got talking and I told him I had snakes and he said that he was thinking about getting one. He asked me what they ate and I said that I feed mine pinky mice. Well, the conversation ended and a long time later, maybe 2 years he called me again asking if I wanted to by his 8 foot python from him because he didn't know how I could keep up with the cost of feeding this thing. He said that there was no way he could keep up with the bills! I told him that I was not interested in keeping big snakes and only kept ones that were small enough to eat mice. Not huge ones that required buying rabbits, etc. "Rabbits???.......", he said faintly. Turns out he was feeding the snake 100 count bags of pinkies at $.50/pinky every 3 days!!!! I couldn't believe he was so dumb! And the pet store didn't seem to have any motivation to clue him in. They just counted the profits!
