This happened about 6 months ago but i just remembered it and it still makes me smile! I used to have this fullgrown kingsnake and when i needed to clean out his cage i would place him in a big plastic box, it had a snap lid on it(with holes for ventilation) I did not think he could possible get out of it~~ Well I was wrong! I started looking in the room he had been in as my husband searched the rest of the house. We did not think it would have been able to make it in our room unnoticed because we have quite a few cats in there. I did a quick search anyway but found nothing. Plus all the cats were curled up on the bed and sleeping~~ usually if there is somehting interesting around they are right on it! No cricket can get away!LOL~ well we searched for hours and it was getting late and i was feeling very discouraged. I crawled into bed and what did i feel at my feet!hehehe~ It was curled up under the blankets on the heat pad! HOW SWEET! I imediatly thought about what my mothers reaction would be to a snake in her bed!hahahaha~ she would have screamed her head off! As for me i was as happy as can be! I still do not know how it crept in there under the blankets without being detected~
