: My lab burmese python is the most docile large snake I own. I feed her prekilled rabbits and small pigs. My neighbour, who lover her, has a cat. Correction, had a cat. Bungy, the burm, was crawling around on the kitchen floor, being supervised by me. Suddenly, she went into stalk mode. I see her do this when I used to feed her live prey. Not worried about getting bit, I start looking around the kitchen to see what the devil she could be seeing as food. Then SLAM BAM!! She struck and got a hold of the kitty. After trying to no avail for releasing the poor cat, Bungy swallowed her, and I put her back in her cage. Being filled with guilt, I told Alice her kitty has gone to a better place. My burm's bowels. Eventually I convinced her I wasn't joking. She looked at me with sadness and started crying. I feel so damn guilty. I made it up to her. Sort of. In an ironic apology, I bought her her own albino burm to pair up with her normal.
