The other day I caught a wild speckled kingsnake. I was surprised at how docile the snake was. It never attempted to bite me and allowed me to handle it as if it were a long time captive.
I kept it overnight to study and show off. It bit me the next day as I released it. I guess that was his way of saying goodbye.
