: Just to let you know how human I am......... a couple of years ago I was cleaning my snake cages while watching a TV in the room (MISTAKE NO.1)I started out with the non-venomous and worked my way to the venomous. Being interested in what was on the Boob Tube I didn't notice the change from said non-venomous to venomous (MISTAKE NO.2). I reached into the next cage to remove the water dish and saw some movement in the pcv hideout and looked up just in time to see the rattle of one of my lepidus disappearing into the tube as the head came out the other end. My hand came out so fast I think my feet left the ground. He was just looking for the usual handout and almost got mine. The minutes long flow of four letter words that came from my mouth was quite impressive. It was a smorgasboard that included nasties that I probably invented because the old standby's didn't seem to acurately convey the terror I was feeling. I followed up with a tirade aimed at my mirror image for being so stupid. Once I had calmed down I removed the TV and painted the edges of the venomous lids red.

: You know.....I would have sworn that that lep was smiling at me later when I looked in. I hope that someone learns from this post. I no longer take my skills for granted. NO MORE DISTRACTIONS WHILE WORKING THE SNAKE ROOM!!!!

: Hope you weren't bored.

: Spooky
