Yes, I know, I have one. But I think the bite I got from a garter snake was worse. Reason being, the 80 + pound police-bred German Shepherd bites and then runs away with a goofy look on his face (How many times have I said, "he's just PLAYING" to my guests as the bruise forms on my arm?). the garter bit and hung on. I was giving a wild snake fresh water, and he must've felt threatened. I waited for him to let go, and he didn't so ultimately I dropped a cloth bag over it and then it let go.
