She thought it might be the latter, but for $150. I thought not. : I decided to head up to the shop to take a look. When I got there, my jaw nearly hit the floor, there was a beautiful : Shingleback Skink! I had the proprietor get it out and it seemed to be in excellent health. : My (ex)wife asked if it was the $2000. lizard that I had told her about. : Trying not to sound too excited, I told her that it was. Needless to say, I bought it right then and there. : I was unable to keep it long, and so it was sold for $500. cash and $350. worth of snakes. : It just goes to show you that pet stores and their ignorance aren't always bad :)
