: ANyone have suggestions for finding a 5 foot ball python that is loose in the house? Only thing I can think of is lowering the house temp except for one warm spot to attract him. Other suggestions would really be appreciated asap... before the cats find him.

I lost a Cal King while cleaning once. Got him back 54 weeks later to the day. His cage was upstairs. We found him under our clothes washing machine in the basement utility room. He was stunted as he was only about three months old when he got out. After his life on the lamb he was one nasty snake; vibrating and musking even when someone approached his cage.
