Somebody out there questioned the numbers of reptiles you saw in sept. You've no dought has seen my post on the Alterna Page before and looking at herps in Texas in the month of Sept. has made a believer out of me! With over 37 trips down there and only 3 trips in September I always observe over 100 snakes not counting lizards and turtles in that month. Most of this last trip was in the west Texas area where we also observed 2 alterna and 7 or so was seen in that month.
Looks like some of those people maybe should try observing herps in that month and see if they don't agree!
