: I recently had one baby C. constrictor eat another one. it died in the process. i am wondering if anyon else has observed such an occurence, if so please email me back.
I have seen the exact same thing. I had about 20 hatchlings in a tank and planned to separate then soon before shedding. One little guy decided that he would eat early and I found him dead with about an inch of one of his siblings hanging out of his mouth. They should be separated early I guess.
