Maxx, Thanks for the advice. The basking spot I have and I'll add some salt tonight. As for the PH, won't the S. moss turn the water a rusty color, also (forgive me if this sounds dumb) is "tea bags" the actual name of the product or do you just add some moss to a bag? Thanks Again.

:Michael-- 1) Add some non-iodized salt to the water. I have salt in all of my tanks, especially my softshell tanks. 2) Drop the PH. Adding sphagnum peat moss "tea bags" is a good way to do this. 3) Make sure there's a basking area that the turle can use. --Maxx
