If you are able to get some frozen blood worm "cubes", your spiny softshell will be in heaven. I have never seen a softshell refuse bloodworms. There is a brand which is packed with vitamins etc.

:I bought a baby spiny softshell turtle in downtown LA a few months ago, and he/she seems to be very happy and healthy, but he/she wont eat any dry foods except for "repto treat" which i dont think is supposed to be a regular dietary source. I've tried to feed him the food that he came with, and i've tried "repto-min", he wont eat them at all, i've even tried to skip a day of feeding and giving him the repto min the next day, but he's (or she's) realy stuborn.Does anyone know if it's unhealthy to only feed it the repto treat? or how to get it to eat other dry foods. Also what type of fish i can feed him?
