Identifying my soft shell

Hi! We have a 12 year old soft shell turtle, named Pinocchio, but we have consistently gotten mixed reveiws on the type of soft shell that she is. She is about 16" long 8 - 9 pounds, with spots, but they are irregular in size. She has a white belly, and greenish/grayish colored neck and back. We most recently heard from our vet that she was a Burmese soft shell, but she looks nothing like the picture on the website. can anyone help?
