I recently received a Baby Florida Softshell. My bother said the best set-up for it now would be this 10 gallon turtle tank, Whisper power Filter, heat/UV light. He bought me all this stuff with the turtle. Today I got the substrate from him. It is called Seachem Onyx Fracted Porous Substrate. It seems too rough for such a smooth turtle. Too sharp maybe. If I can figure out how to put the pics of the tank and stuuf on here, I will. He is using the same stuff for his softshell and says his burries itself in it and seems to be fine. Is this the right set-up. Half water, half land? I know A 10 gallon is small, but it will do for a little while. Help me!
