Well, but they can be saved!!Separate the sick ones from the healthy ones.Yes, it's contagious!!Take the sick ones and put some Betadine or Acriflavine over the fungus with a cotton bud.ONLY over the fungus.Dont spread all over the carapace because its too strong.Leave them out of the water for one hour until the medicine dries.They will recover soon.But if you dont do that they will die soon.
Attention:I did that with 2 of my pignosed I bought with fungus and it worked very well.I suppose it will work with your softshells too.

Hi, i went away for the weekend, and when i got back, my softshells had white spots all over them. Then one was floating upside down dead. The other ones still alive. What do i do? What caused this, and is it contagious to other turtles? Thankyou
