unfortunately not. There is a species of malayan softshell, sometimes found for sale, that might do okay in a 70 gallon, as it stays around 6-7 inches long. Softshells are primarily fast moving swimmers and need plenty of room to stretch and exercise. That coupled with the need for high water volume to have easy maintenance of water quality (bio load for turtles is easiest maintained at minimum 10 gallons of water per inch of turtle carapace measured front to back), which softshells very much need leads to fairly large tanks for most species.
