Where are you located? How big is the turtle? (just trying to figure out what kind you have based on your location and size of the animal to let you know what size tank to set it up in.) Obviously -- the first order of business is to get into water (which by now I am sure you have done). Temperature around 80 degrees should be fine. They do like to bury themselves and playsand is a good substrate for that (see posts below regarding washing the sand) What is the turtle's overall condition?

: yesterday i found a SS on a road no were near water and it was VERY dry and barley moving what should i do? how should i set up the tank,what do i feed it etc etc etc id really appreciate some help thanx
